It’s that time!!! I am just staring to feel a bit of crisp coolness in the evening air and a hint of change coming as the leaves on the trees begin to turn just enough to let me know Fall will come once again.
And with Fall comes my annual Fall Weekend Retreat at Camp Kirkwood. Some of you know and love this time as “Stamp Camp”. Seriously, there are literally thousands of stamps on hand for you to use. I know… I pack them all up and bring them for you to enjoy along with everything else from my studio.
There are not only 1000’s of stamps, but also samples and displays for inspiration! Retreat attendees also have use of all my punches, punch boards, dies, framelits, inks as well as embossing and cutting stations… all this is available around the clock!
But rest assure there is much more than stamping that happens at Fall Retreat. Some women come to work on everything from stamping projects, card making, scrapbooking to painting, sewing, reading and just enjoy time with old and even new friends as they share inspiration, stories, yummy food and breathtaking Fall surroundings.
I’ve seen a lot of projects completed during this weekend over the years, but more precious to me are the friendships I’ve seen formed, hugs embraced, the reunion of long distance friends, shared tears of both laughter and sorrow, the last goodbyes of time spent together and have even been witness to a few miracles.
Those that have come to camp know the road pictured in the photo below. It brings me such peace and joy when entering the grounds. I’m hoping you will join us this year.
