Project Life by Stampin’ Up!

The most exciting news was announced today! Stampin’ Up! has partnered with the wonderful Becky Higgins to to bring us the real deal… authentic Project Life products in exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors and designs. Woot! Woot! How exciting is that!!! I am over the moon about it and can’t wait to get my hands on it to start playing! Yes… I am doing a happy dance today… even with all the snow on the ground… and it being tax day… it’s a good day! Best news ever!!!! You can read more about it on Becky’s Blog.

Rolling Out The Red Carpet!!!

It’s that time again… The Oscars are here!!!

All the Stars are walking the Red Carpet looking all so dapper with the men in their prestine tuxes and women in ravishing gowns. Attention has been given to every single detail from the fashion designer chosen to their hair, makeup, shoes and of course the beautiful accessories which add the finishing touches. After all, who doesn’t love bling!

All the excitement and anticipation to see who the top award winners will be has been building up for weeks but now it’s time for all the nominees to shine as they celebrate the journey of the carpet! We each get to participate in all the excitement as we sit by the TV to get a glimpse of our favorite stars or follow, post and tweet away on social media and somehow feel connected as we cheer them on in hopes that they take home the coveted golden man known as “Oscar”.

Well Tonight I am also rolling out the RED CARPET for a special STAR…

The best part is that these took so little time to make because they were a complete kit. I started them at my PMS Party on Friday night and finished them tonight while sitting on the couch watching the stars journey down the Red Carpet.

I love the stamps that are included in this kit. I know that they will be images that I can… and will use time and time again.

You don’t even need adhesive because all the printed elements are self adhesive die-cuts. You just peel them off the sheet and stick them down. How easy peasy is that? You can also pop up any of the elements with the Dimensionals which are included in the kit. Oh… and by the way, please ignore my very dry hands… it’s been a long Winter and I can’t seem to keep enough lotion on my hands. lol

So many different ways to use the stamps. You can stamp them one time or multiple times for a fun look. I always like to stamp the envelopes to match the cards and on this one I even used some of the extra die-cut images to jazz up the envies. Because who wants a naked envelope?

The tiny little Paper Clips are so adorable and add a fun “on trend” feel to the cards, especially when paired with the White Bakers Twine. Both are also included in this awesome kit!

Just look how cute this is! These simple little embellishments add so much to a card. Don’t you agree? Yep… me too.

Oh… did I tell you that the kit also comes with it’s own little ink pad. And who doesn’t love these little Stampin’ Spots. Basic Gray coordinates with everything and you can use our ink refills in them!

Easy Button Please

Don’t you wish that “Easy Button” for life really existed sometimes? I know after days like today I do. I was up most of the night trying to get my blog up and running only to have it crash with one wrong click. I spent most of the day trying to get it back up. After countless attempts on my own I gave in and called Bluehost. The gentleman on the other end of the phone had my site up and running again in less than 2 minutes. You see, he had the easy button because he had the knowledge and tools to fix it in a matter of a few clicks.
