Saying Goodbye to Some Favorites

I want to take a moment and thank you for your continued support of my small business. It is truly appreciated, especially during this time of COVID 19 where we are unable to gather in person for classes and events. I’m not sure what my business will look like in the coming months, but know that I am here and working on ideas to serve you as best as I can. Part of that is trying to keep you updated on products and coming up with creative ways to do online classes and events as well as videos and Facebook lives. Christmas Card Stamp-A-Stack

It’s that time again! I seriously can’t believe Christmas is just around the corner. I feel like I just packed away all the decorations and it’s time to pull it back out again. And speaking of Christmas… have you started your Christmas cards yet. If not… or even if you have… I’ve got a few opportunities for you to come a stamp a stack. Anita’s 2019 Fall Retreat Registration is Now Open!

It’s that time! Kiddos are all back in school. The air temperature has cooled a bit… At least for now. In Ohio that may change before I finish typing. Even Fall decor has begun to pop up on my social media feeds and in stores all around. I think we are all looking forward to Fall and all the beauty it brings.

And of course Fall also brings one of my favorite events of the year… Fall Retreat! This time last year I remember being so stressed about moving my Fall Retreat from the camp ground to the hotel setting. But, as those of you who went know, it turned out to be a great change. The hotel worked out beautifully. I am looking forward to hosting it again at the Columbus Northwest Marriott. We may even have Chad back again as our server.

I am looking forward to our time together. I invite you to join us on the weekend of October – 18th through the 20th at the Columbus Marriott Northwest in Dublin. Registration for this year’s Fall Retreat as well as your hotel room is now open.

So grab a girlfriend and get registered… or come alone. I promise you will make new friends!

Anita’s Fall Retreat Registration is OPEN!

It’s that time… time for seasons to change. I am so ready for the hot and sticky season of Summer to change over to cooler days of Fall… one of my favorite seasons. I wish we could hold on to the colorful and beautiful Fall season longer, but here in Ohio we are sometimes lucky to have it at all. The hot days of Summer seem to barrel right through and over into the cold nights of Winter. There is beauty in all the seasons, but let’s face it, Fall and it’s fun festivals, bright blue skies, colorful leaves, crisp air, chunky sweaters, hot cocoa, bonfires with s’mores and smell of freshly baked pumpkin pies have my heart!

Along with my favorite time of year comes my favorite event of the year… my Fall Weekend Retreat. This year, as with the seasons, we are changing things up a bit. For the first time Fall Retreat will be held locally at a hotel. I know this is a big change and honestly sometimes I struggle adjusting to change. I recently listened to a podcast about change and stepping out of our comfort zone. When we do this we grow and learn and can make things better than they were before. I am really looking forward to our time together and with it being at a hotel with all the comfort and amenities I think this will be a blessing for all of us. And what gal doesn’t like a little pampering ever now and then, right!

Registration for this year’s Fall Retreat is now open. I invite you to join us on the last weekend of October – Friday the 26th through Sunday the 28th at our new venue – Columbus Marriott Northwest in Dublin.

We’ve got a spot for you and would love to have you join us for this year’s Fall Weekend Retreat! It doesn’t matter what creative projects you bring to work on you are welcome to join us for this weekend. So grab a girlfriend and get registered… or come alone. I promise you will make new friends!

Natalie’s First Solo Show

We are so very proud of this gal! At the end of 2017 Natalie was selected as one of the “Kid Artisans” for the Not Your Mama’s Big Holiday Market that took place in the Short North of Columbus.

With my help and the help of her sisters, Natalie spent hours prepping for the show… printing, cutting, matting and framing her beautiful art work. I thought I’d share a peek at some of her artwork and booth set up.

She had a lot of fun making buttons as well.

She had a wonderful day and enjoyed sharing her art with those who stopped by her booth. We are so thankful for everyone who came out to encourage and support her and her creative endeavors. You can also support Natalie and purchase her artwork at the Liberty Tree Artisan Market in Powell, Ohio on March 10th from 10am to 2pm. I invite you to stop by our Touch The Edge Studios family booth.

Fall Creative Retreat Registration Now Open

Summer Sunshine Wishes!

I’m sharing some “Sunshine” with you today! You will find details below for my upcoming Sunshine Wishes class and a yummy recipe full of sunshine at the bottom of this post! I’m starting however, with some insight on waiting… for sunshine.

It’s been a challenging Summer for me to work on any projects that require using my hands. I’ve been dealing with a “trigger thumb” since early Spring. And of course it’s on my dominate right hand that I need everyday. I thought I was just overworking it and tried to give it some rest. It’s amazing how much we use our thumb.
